COPT Declares Third Quarter 2012 Dividends

COLUMBIA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Board of Trustees of Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) (NYSE: OFC), an office real estate investment trust (REIT) that focuses primarily on serving the specialized requirements of U.S. Government and Defense Information Technology tenants, declared a quarterly dividend of $0.275 per Common Share of beneficial interest for the third quarter 2012, payable on October 15, 2012 to shareholders of record on September 28, 2012.

For the Series H, J and K Preferred Shares of beneficial interest of the Company listed below, the Board of Trustees declared dividends for the period commencing July 15, 2012 and ending October 14, 2012, payable on October 15, 2012 to shareholders of record on September 28, 2012.

For the Series L Preferred Shares, also listed below, the Board of Trustees declared dividends for the period commencing June 27, 2012 and ending October 14, 2012, payable on October 15, 2012 to shareholders of record on September 28, 2012.
